A: After a wonderful run of 78 years, Performing Arts Insider, a journal of the New York theater industry, ceased publication in September 2022. Back issues are available by contacting paipress@aol.com.

A: Shows are rated on a scale of zero to four stars, in 1/4 star increments. As a rule of thumb, anything under **1/2 is best avoided, over **3/4 is probably worth seeing, and anything over ***1/4 is a must.
